ok you saw the good job jessie did on her own this year with carving of the pumpkins.. did 3 of them.. now this is what is left of 2 of them..boy she is going to be mad when she gets home..i assume a squirrel did this..

Boy can I ever relate! It is more the deer here that eat our pumpkins though. Poor Jessie, all that work ruined. But, at least the critters don't realize they are doing something wrong--unlike humans.

oh my!! I hope she isn't too upset. She did a great job! I guess the critters thought it was a smörgåsbord just for them!!

we have deer here also but they do not come up on the deck..she has seen it now and was not that mad lol..glad..she just said WHAT HAPPENED we have more pumpkins if she wants to do some..i am really glad i got pics before they got ate. we also have had one of big pumpkins stolen off the deck..

hey those are so cool...bet it did not take long for the critters to eat the innards lol what kind of plant is that next to the steps..it looks like Ala vera plant..

oh and yes we roast the seeds..did some on the first pumpkins.. gave these last ones to the squirrels..
