No baby pics yet. But, this is a pic of the package for the baby shower. That's a first dog and first doll for Abby. The little doll lights up and plays music. I just bought several little baby things and enclosed a check for Noelle to put towards a rocker.

Oh Peeve, that puppy and doll are so cute! I had a friend that bought a huge teddy bear while she was pregnant and had it personalized. It said 'Jackson's Bear' on the front. Every month she took a picture of Jackson laying beside his bear to show how much he had grown in a month's time. Jackson is 3 years old now, and she still takes pictures of him beside it. Of course he's bigger than the bear now, but it's always neat to have "first" items that they can look back on forever and remember how special those things are!! I hope Abby will treasure her first doll and first puppy for many years to come too!

I had tons of stuffed animals as a child and continue to add to my collection. Noelle has lots too. When Noelle came to live with us at age two, she had been in three different foster homes in a year's time that we know of, was sexually abused in one. She had only one stuffed animal when she came here. It was a Pound Puppy. And, she didn't ever want to let go of it. We were told it was the only thing she had ever known as her own, the only thing she felt close to. I hope precious little Abby will never have to go through what Noelle was put through.
