Texas Beef Skillet
In skillet, brown 1 pound of hamburger and onion. drain off fat. add 1 can kidney beans, 1 can tomatoes, 1/2 cup rice, 1/2 cup water, 3 tablesthingy green pepper, (i use more), 1 1/2 teasthingys chili powder, 1/2 teasthingy salt, 1 teasthingy garlic salt.... stir and simmer 20 minutes stirring occasionally. when done, add cheese on top. (i use Velveeta slices cause it melts better... ) if you want, add crushed fritos on top... if you are going to have leftovers, put fritos on as you use it. it is good next day but fritos will get soggy...

HA-HA! It just cracks me up every time I read a recipe on here, and it says 'tablesthingy' and 'teasthingy' instead of table-s-p-o-o-n and tea-s-p-o-o-n! I guess it's a good 'thingy' we all know what it means!! LOL Anyway, thanks for sharing Pombird. It sounds really good! I'll have to make it sometime when my husband is home.

I think I've made this recipe before and it was good. I love easy hamburger recipes. Thanks for sharing.
