I'm going to post a few pics of our sun room, since that is where I now keep the majority of my house plants, and winter over my outside plants. It was just a covered patio area when we moved here. Ron enclosed it. And, actually, he still isn't quite finished with it, has never been able to find the material he wants to finish the lower part of it. It was also our skunk room when the skunkies were alive. I just left the sliding door open and they were free to come and go inside the house with us. In this pic I have it decorated for the 4th of July. But, I decorate it for the different holidays, have it decorated for Easter right now. Oh, and by the way, there are a few artificial plants out there too. LOL If you look closely you can probably see some of my windchimes collection. And, I think there is a spider web in the bottom right of that pic. I don't bother the spiders, consider them good creatures.

Our sun room has heat vents out to it. But, we don't keep it as warm out there as we do the house. We kept it warm for the skunkies and we keep it warm enough so the plants don't freeze. I put some new batteries in our camera today and took some pics of the sun room so you could see how crammed it is in the winter. But, might know Ron needs to fix the link from his laptop so I can upload the pics up to this computer. LOL There just ALWAYS seems to be some reason why I can't get things done. There are a lot of pics on his laptop that I would like access to, used to have access to. I don't know why that link is no longer available, and Ron doesn't seem to know why either.
Yes, there's a hammock out there. But, I never get a chance to use it. I have one outside too but just walk by it all the time. I have to take down the one in the sun room for winter, to make room for more plants.
Below is a pic of our front porch, also decorated for the 4th. I also decorate it for every holiday. All the furniture in the sun room had to be put on the front porch when the skunkies were using the sun room. I miss the wicker furniture on the front porch, am thinking about getting some more for it and putting the cast iron set some where else. If you look closely, you can see Pumpkin sitting by the front door.

I took some pics of the sun room yesterday, so you can see what it looks like during the winter. I'll post more of them later. But, in this one Duchess is taking a sun bath. She loves to sit on that table and watch all the activity outside. In that pic you can see the sides of the wall that Ron hasn't finished yet, because he hasn't found the type of siding he wants. But, it's been like that for about 30 years now, so isn't high on his priority list. LOL Two years ago we had to replace the floor of the deck above it, made it so it no longer leaks in the sun room. OK, I'm off to get dressed and get a few more chores done.

i like your porch pet peeve it pretty ..i do see pumpkin lol..do not feel bad about the wood in your sun room..my front porch is half painted and half wood slats..my hubby and i argued about this..lol we repainted it a gray color..something they used back when they had no colors i guess...back then i did not care because i used the porch for day care and just wanted it to look presentable..but after i quit the daycare he ripped out 2 windows that were not necessary and put in some white oak shelves and put fishing nick nacks and old fishing lures on the shelves..he wanted to leave that wall unpainted so it would look like a bait shop...so he won..lol..he does not have any space in here to call his own but the bed room so i let him have it..but think it looks dumb...love your cat on the table lol..those are fake tulips right? they are pretty...

LOL Hmm, a bait room in your front porch. Well, that wouldn't be my choice for decorating my front porch. But, I can think of some cute ways to do it.
Yes, those are fake tulips. I thought they were pretty, got them at WalMart. I used to plant at least 100 bulbs every fall but just gave up battling the wildlife. And, even when I did plant them, I hated to pick them to bring inside.
Duchess is usually very careful about not knocking things over; but, the other day she knocked my yellow pitcher off that table, broke the handle off of it--something else for Ron to fix. LOL I heard the crash, went to see what happened. I said "What did you do?" Her eyes got really big and she jumped down and ran away. LOL
I'm posting another pic of the table, because it has more of the chair in it. I bought new Easter decor at Kohl's this year, didn't get out my old stuff. But, it all matches. The pillow has bunnies on it. The round mat under the tulips matches too, even though you can't see it. I try to make it look as nice out there as possible during the winter months, even though it is crammed full of plants.

Here's another pic showing another pillow. I'm thinking about tossing the fern behind it. It is a mean fern, has little thorns on it. I need to repot it. But, even when I water it, it cathes my skin and makes me bleed. I'm dreading repotting it.
That little clock on the table has different birds on it. Every hour a different bird sings their own little song. Oh, and notice I even have a little wind chime in the plant to the right of the chair.

OK, here you can see my Easter bunnies that are the theme of the decor. And, you can see my parrot and birds of paradise. Nope, they aren't real. The parrot is one of those programmable ones. I wish you could have seen Duchess the first time she heard that parrot say hello. She jumped really high and ran away. Oh, and you can see her litter box and Ron's pressure washer. Last year he left it in the garage and it froze, had to order a new part. I'll be glad when we can clear out the sun room, use that pressure washer, and get it all clean again. You can't even see all the plants I have crammed back there in the corner. But, you get a better view of my wind chimes.

There's another Easter pillow. LOL Above the settee is the kitchen window. You can see all my geraniums back in the corner. My water tub garden is behind Ron's pressure washer. I just have a little pathway so I can get to water all my plants. Duchess likes to sleep on that settee too. That striped cover used to be one of my fall tableclothes, until mice chewed holes in it. Grrr.

And, here's the last pic. See that board there? That's kind of a cat door. LOL Ron put it up there so we could still close the door to keep the cold out but Duchess can come and go through the bottom of it. That box is her scratching box. She loves it. I got it because she was using the door mat as her scratching pad. She eats that fern right beside it, and then throws it up. LOL I used to have that little fountain on the front porch. But, I was having to refill it several times a day because the wind blew the water away. I still have to refill it at least once a day, because the water splashes out. But, right now I guess the switch on the wall isn't working, waiting for Ron to replace it. So, the fountain isn't going. I used to have a little pre fab pond in the sun room. It was one a friend gave me, had a leak in it. Ron fixed the leak. But, it just took up too much room. So, there you have it. That's what the sun room looks like during the winter. I don't know how we ever got along without it, when it was just a covered patio. Well, actually I do remember--I had to lug everything downstairs and use plant lights. I don't have near the plants I used to have though. I used to have to bring in 3 stock tanks to hold all my water plants. But, I gave away a lot of them.

I had one of those round bird clocks in Noelle's room, loved listening to it. But, it was a gift to her and she took it with her when she moved out. I doubt she still has it. LOL Spike just wants to be with you. Duchess likes to be in my lap when I'm on the computer. But, she gets a little carried away with her kneading, claws me. So, I make her get down. I've got some pics of our animals on the computer, will try to find them and post them.

Absolutely gorgeous!! I love windchimes too, but I only have about 4 or 5.
You know, if I came to live with you, the sunroom could be my bedroom! LOL
