That is absolutely beautiful, Pombird. It's something to be watched over and over. Some of the pics remind me of when I lived 10 years in California. I like the last one that says "find your joy and share it". That's why Ron and I created Our Colorado Oasis, so others can enjoy what we enjoy every day. Thanks for sharing this, Pombird.

I was just a young girl the first time I went to California. My mother and I went to visit my uncle and aunt in La Jolla. Being born and raised in Kansas, California was a wonderland for me. We went to the ocean, Disneyland had just opened, etc. I didn't want to go home and told myself some day I was going to live there. I moved there December, 1969, lived there until I married Ron in 1978. I lived in the Bay Area. I loved going to Yosemite. Ron and I went back over a 3-day weekend several years ago. It just didn't seem the same. I have just one sister, 5 years older. She lives probably less than an hour away from me here in Colorado. But, I haven't seen her in years. We never had anything in common and I didn't approve of the way she bled my mother dry of all her money. My sister said she didn't ask to be brought in to this world and that she was entitled to the money, that it was our parents' duty to take care of her.
