Hmm, I'll have to think about what is my favorite movie. I know a movie has to make me laugh, don't like sad ones such as Old Yeller, The Yearling, Bambi, etc. There is enough sadness in life. I think there is a dog movie out, Marley, starring Jennifer Anniston. I don't care to watch it, don't care for Anniston and hear the last 30 minutes is about the dog's death. I don't care for musicals either but liked Grease. I think my husband's favorite movie must be Twelve Angry Men. He watches it over and over. So does Noelle. My husband and I used to go to Saturday morning movies when we were in junior high. I think one of the stupid serial movies was Flash Gordon. But, I think we've been to only one movie together since married. That was Rambo, somehow got free tickets. I think the last movie I went to was when I took Noelle and friends for her birthday party, saw Jurassic Park. I really don't tend to watch movies these days. Most are trash in my opinion, have dumb endings, bad language. We have tons of videos, lots Noelle's little Abby will enjoy watching because they are mostly kid/Disney movies that I bought while raising Noelle. When I watch some of the awards these days, I don't even know most of the people.

hey, i know a great movie, it's called Balto and it's about dog that saves a town by pulling a sled team to alaska to bring them some medicine from several thousand miles away, i think, oh i don't remember it too well cause it's been a long time since i saw it but it was a true story and the town made a statue of the dog too.

Three movies I'm planning on purchasing are Wall-E, Religuous, and "W"--about George W. Bush. My daughter tells me Wall-E has a sad part but not a sad ending. I may skip buying "W" though, would just like to forget about him. LOL

I have several movies that I really like, most of them are kids movies though. LOL (Alvin and the Chipmunks, Balto, Happy Feet, Kung Fu Panda, Monsters, Inc., Oliver and Company, not to mention the classics like The Aristocats, Bambi, Charlotte's Web, Dumbo, 101 Dalmatians, Cinderella, Snow White, etc...)
I also love scary movies (Scream, Friday the 13th, Halloween, etc.)
I would have to say though, my most favorite movie of all time is "What A Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart.

I would say my favorites would be the Lord of the Ring trilogy. I saw Marley since my husband is a dog person. It had a sad ending; reminded me too much of my own dogs that has passed away. I tend to like more kid type movies; Incredible Journey, Otis and Milo, etc. Love Toy Story, Shrek and The Incredibles...and almost anything with Will Smith.

I would have to now add Avatar to my list. I have seen it 3 times!! Bruce and I watch quite a bit of TV now that he's retired. Prefer the CSI types; Bones; Criminal Minds, etc. Also watch some of BBC's police shows.
