www.ustream.tv/theowlbox here's the link to Molly the Barn Owl, she's already had one group of babies and they have flown away and now she's raising a second bunch of babies. so far there are 3 babies with the 4th egg do to hatch by aug 14,2010 her mate is named Mcgee and we think he's teaching the first set of babies how to hunt while bringing Molly food for her and her babies. I watched the first batch off and on but now i'm watching this group of babies alot more. she sleeps mostly during the day and the main action starts at night.when one of the babies shows up or a strange owl Molly runs out and goes into attack mode and runs them off. it's so cool. hope you enjoy

I go there every once in a while. But, it bothers me seeing them rip apart the critters for food. Many are the same kind of critters we feed. I know it is all a part of the circle of life but sad some critters have to die so others can live. Also, I think Carlos is using the site to make a profit.

I used to have a pair of owls that hung around for several years and every evening I would hear them hoot just before dark, but this year I haven't seen or heard them and now we have several bunnies that come out before dark and eat grass in our yard and they have gotten so used to me and my hubby talking to them that we can get kinda close to them and they won't run

We have owls and hawks too, get fish from our pond. You probably saw the pic I posted of the owl. We have tons of bunnies and squirrels. They aren't afraid of us. There is one that always waits for Ron to put food out for it. When others see him putting it out they all come running. The little skunk babies aren't afraid of me either, even let me pet their tails. But, I don't want them getting tame.
